Matt Smith will have a cute new companion come Christmas. BBC announced today that 25-year-old actress Jenna-Louise Coleman will join Doctor Who during this next season.
"It always seems impossible when you start casting these parts, but when we saw Matt and Jenna together we knew we had our girl," Steven Moffat, executive producer and lead writer of the series, said. "She's funny and clever and exactly mad enough to step on board the TARDIS."
