Hunky actor Alan Ritchson is the latest addition to the cast of Catching Fire. The 27-year-old actor/singer/model will play Gloss, a tribute from District 1.

“No words can express,” Ritchson Tweeted. “To have the opportunity to portray Gloss in @TheHungerGames. To be a part of this great trilogy...just...so grateful.”

Though Ritchson is best known for his portrayals of Aquaman on The CW’s Smallville and Thad Castle on Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State, acting isn’t his only talent. Alan has modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as the men’s online underwear store, internationaljock.com (check out his body of work below).

The future movie star was also one of 87 finalists on the third season of American Idol, though he failed to make the final cut (much to Paula Abdul’s disappointment). Ritchson released an album, This Is Next Time, in 2006.



Alan the hunk has also starred or appeared in Though None Go with Me, Fired Up!, Rulebreakers, Midnight Bayou, and 90210. Fans can catch him The Hunger Games: Catching Fire when it hits theaters on November 22, 2013.
