Alex O'Loughlin is the latest hottie from Downunder to grace American films and Television. Long touted as the next big Hollywood star from Australia, O'Loughlin has had many roles, yet has escaped A-list status, despite starring along side Jennifer Lopez in the movie The Back Up Plan.
His big break may have just come with the CBS reboot of Hawaii-Five-O. He stars as the lead character Steve McGarrett in what has been one the most successful new shows of the CBS 2010-2011 season line up. It is a fan favorite having won the People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama.
The actor reportedly screen tested for the role of James Bond too. In due time we believe he will get that chance to play James Bond.
