Magic Mike hits theaters next month, and women around the world can’t wait to ogle a few of their favorite Hollywood hunks. The movie, which is loosely based on Channing Tatum’s real-life stripping days, stars Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, and Adam Rodriguez, and offers more six-pack abs and bulging biceps than a girl can shake a dollar bill at. However, while the Magic Mike cast is brimming with beefcake, Joe Manganiello is so ripped that even Channing Tatum is in awe.
"With Joe Manganiello naked in a movie, I think even straight guys are going to be, ‘Shit, I need to see that,’" Tatum said in an interview with OUT magazine. "That man is a specimen.'"
A specimen he certainly is, but Joe’s body didn’t come easily. Manganiello worked out six days a week, twice a day, to acquire those chiseled abs, whittling down from 240 pounds and 18% body fat to 230 pounds and 8% body fat.
