Summer just got a whole lot hotter thanks to the release of the 2013 FDNY Calendar of Heroes. Featuring 13 of the city’s hunkiest firefighters, the calendar supports a good cause in addition to giving the ladies something to smile about.
“It's going to add some heat to our kitchen,” teen Alisha Harper told DNAInfo.com.
All proceeds from the Calendar of Heroes benefit the FDNY Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting fire safety education and fire preventation training.
“Every dollar that is made selling this calendar goes directly to fire safety education,” FDNY spokesman Frank Dwyer told the New York Daily News. “It’s a fun way to hopefully raise a lot of money.”
