Matthew McConaughey may not have been the star his is now if it weren’t for a chance meeting with director Richard Linklater. He was cast in the movie Dazed and Confused in what was supposed to be a bit part. The part kept getting bigger and soon this Hollywood Hottie became quite the Hollywood star.
McConaughey went on to star in the romantic comedies, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Wedding Planner, and Fool’s Gold. He also proved he could easily handle serious dramas as well, starring in A Time To Kill, and We Are Marshall.
This talented actor is a stand up guy too. He claims to still be friends with all of his exes. “I just don’t know how to put Wite-Out over that period in my life. So hopefully you’re going to be inviting me to your wedding and I’m going to be inviting you to mine”
This weekend he will be a presenter at the 83rd Oscars on February
