Fans of thriller films like Saw and Hostel are looking forward to the upcoming Bollywood blockbuster, Murder 2 (watch the trailer below!). Scheduled for release July 8th, the film is darker and more erotic than its prequel and stars sexy Sri Lankan Jacqueline Fernandez.

While Jacqueline grew up in Bahrain, she graduated from Murrey University in Melbourne, Australia with a mass media degree. However, her striking good looks led her to model for fashion designers before winning Miss Sri Lanka in 2006.

After competing for Miss Universe that year, Jackie continued to model while also working as an anchor on Lanka Business Report and writing a weekly column for The Daily Mirror. It wasn't until 2009 that she landed her first acting role.

Playing the character of Jasmine in the Bollywood fantasy film Aladin, she won an International Indian Film Academy Award and Stardust Award for Best Female Debut. She has since been featured in a few romantic comedies and will shine again in the leading role for Murder 2.

In a recent interview with Indian newspaper MiD-DAY, Jacqueline shared her thoughts about beauty, saying, "I believe that a person is beautiful when she exudes positive energy. Boldness is all about being confident and fearless in life. I feel that you need to feel beautiful to look beautiful. People who are confident in their own skin look good effortlessly."

While Jackie makes Bollywood films, she has a few favorite Hollywood actors. "I admire Penelope Cruz and Daniel Day Lewis. The former is a very lovely lady with a lot of grace, while Daniel has a strong independent sense of style. I think independence is sexy."
