Accents always get the girls and Kenny Wormald realized this when he moved to Los Angeles from Boston nine years ago. He quickly learned to play up that strong Bostonian accent because "chicks dug it" and now with his breakout role in Footloose alongside Julianne Hough, chicks are digging him even more.

While the 27-year-old isn't letting all the attention go to his head, he does give off a slightly cocky swagger.

"A lot of people have attitudes at his age — and sometimes you get people in there who don’t know their lines or stumble and try to blame things on others. But Kenny had a lot of confidence and was such a gathered person," said Footloose co-star Dennis Quaid.

What's next for Wormald? He turned down Step Up 4 because he didn't want to be typecast as the "dance kid." Instead, he signed on to the independent thriller Someone in the Dark. He's taught dance classes in the past to pay his rent and says he'd gladly do it again if needed.

"I’ve been out here for nine years, and it’s been a struggle — rent, even up until a while ago, was a struggle," he said. "I used to make like 500 bucks shooting a music video. And if I taught, I’d make maybe $90 an hour. I make more than that now. And if I need to teach, I will."

He likes how Channing Tatum started as a dancing actor and went on to more dramatic roles, and also mentions wanting to do some "Ryan Gosling-type” stuff.
