Some people thought Taylor Simmons was crazy for turning down an opportunity to play college football after high school. While he chose a career in modeling instead, he has already been enjoying success with such brands as Ralph Lauren, Hollister, and Abercrombie & Fitch.
However, the Texas-born country boy won't be letting the fame go to his pretty little head. (More pics below!)
"I am not going to let modeling change me," he explains. "When I go on a shoot I am still the same sweet, innocent boy from Texas. To everyone I meet, I am very polite. I always say ‘sir’ or ‘ma’am’."
He also plans on not changing his fashion sense too much either.
"I still wear my cowboy boots and boot cut jeans all the time," he says. "I try to keep my Texas style. I wore my cowboy hat and boots to New York City my first time up there, and everybody was staring at me."
They may also be staring because of his striking good looks, which landed him photo shoots with famed photographer Bruce Weber and current representation by Wilhelmina Models.
